Another SUCCESS!

Rumi
 Rumi had sever demodex mange and was rescued from a shelter before he could be euthanized.  The mange was so bad, nobody wanted him.

Through the efforts of Rene, Donna, Beth, John and Cynthia...this dog was saved.

And, A BIG THANK YOU to his FOREVER HOME...he now lives with Dr. Jane Lindsey

Rumi is now a Canine Good Citizen (CGC)

Rumi is now a Certified Therapy Dog (TDI)

Rumi is now a California State Certified Service Dog

He provides invaluable service to Dr. Lindsey's motility challenged  mother.

 The Great Dane Club of San Diego is proud to actively support rescue, foster and adoptive efforts to save Great Danes from being euthanized in shelters.

Our Club President, John Neet, serves as  the Regional Rescue Representative for The Great Dane Club of America, serving the Southern California area.

Although our Club is not a 501(c)(3) and does not as an entity, rescue Danes; 

We do assist with funding rescue, foster and adoptive efforts.

We also provide referrals to those that do legitimate Great Dane Rescue.
